FIRST COMMUNION 1 CLASSES

SUNDAY MORNINGS 8:50 AM – 9:50 AM

These are the class dates for the remaining weeks of the 2008-09 year.
Watch for notices in your child’s “yellow folder” and check for emails about any changes in schedule.
Regular weekly attendance at Mass is an expected part of your child’s participation in our First Communion program.
Remember, you as parents are your child’s primary teacher.

November 16 Class and a Parent Session (Guest Speaker)
November 23 Class
November 30 Class – Advent Workshop – Child an a parent attend
December 7 Class
December 14 Class
December 21 Class
Dec. 24 Procession and Tableau at 5:45 pm Mass for those who sign up
Dec. 28 and Jan. 4 No Classes

 Information regarding Pot Luck Meals will be given to parents as soon as it is available.

January 11 Class – Activity with a parent
January 25 Class and a Parent Session (Guest Speaker)
February 1 Class – collection of old palms begins
February 8 Class
February 22 Class – Child an parent attend as we will begin with the burning of palms
March 1 Class
March 8 Class – (change your clocks forward one hour)
March 15 Class
March 22 Class March 29 Class and a Parent Meeting
April 5 Class – Palm Sunday

 Registration for First Communion 2 will be held some time in the spring of 2009.
Families will be notified.
